Special thanks to Ameriprint, 8119 Columbia Road, Olmsted Falls, for their advice in designing the front page logo. The printer used a photograph of the FALLS in Olmsted Falls (behind the former library on Main Street) taken January 4, 2015, By Wm. Eichenberg and Sunshine.
Members of HSOF: Thanks to Bev Smith, Jean and Bruce Johnson, Eljoiie Mason, Wm. Eichenberg and Fran Yesenko for assisting with the set-up and Silent Auction at Grand Pacific Junction. The proceeds from that evening went to support the August Heritage Days in Olmsted Falls, It was a good opportunity to brag about our Historical Society. Jean and Bev put together a basket for the Silent Auction. Bev also made very nice HSOF name tags for us. We were listed as co-sponsors of the event.
On March 22, 2015, Historical Society members Eljoiie Mason, Nancy Nickels, Barb Wehe, Bruce Johnson, Wm. Eichenberg, and Lois Rowland represented us at the Open House at City Hall. The event was well attended and people enjoyed visiting “the old school” in which The Historical Society is currently housed.
Thanks to Eljorie Mason who helped our President Wm. Eichenberg with packing up the Society items on Monday, March 23, so that they could be safely stored while the room at City Hall is being renovated, along with areas for the new Senior Center. More room for history.
